Planning a summer party, school event or community day and wondering about the water slide hire cost in Sydney? The price can vary quite a bit depending on the water slide you choose, your location and the setup requirements at your venue.

At Monsterball Sydney, our current water slide range includes options starting from around $600, with larger slides and more involved attractions costing more. The current range includes Shark Combo, Tropical Wave, Radical Run Water Slide, Rapid Splash Racer and Double Wave Drop.

Here’s what we recommend looking at before setting your budget.

How Much Does Water Slide Hire Cost in Sydney?

Our current water slides are listed from approximately: Starting prices are a guide. Check the product page and send us your date and location for an exact quote.

The type and size of water slide you choose is one of the biggest factors affecting your overall Water Slide Hire Cost.

What Affects Water Slide Hire Cost?

1. The Water Slide You Choose

Not every water slide is the same size or designed for the same type of event.

Our current range gives you different options depending on the space you have and the type of experience you’re planning. A smaller option may make sense for a family party, while a larger slide can be more suitable for a school, sports club, corporate or community event.

For example, the Double Wave Drop is currently listed from $950, while Shark Combo starts from $600.

Rather than choosing the cheapest option, we recommend looking at the size, capacity, venue and expected participants together.

2. Your Sydney Delivery Location

Your event location can affect the final price.

Delivery fees may apply and can vary depending on factors such as the delivery location, order size and delivery requirements. We’ll confirm any delivery fee before you book.

We deliver across Sydney and surrounding areas, with our base in Vineyard, NSW. If you’re unsure whether we service your suburb, send us your venue details and we’ll confirm it for you.

3. The Surface at Your Venue

Your setup surface is another cost to consider.

On grass and other suitable ground, we anchor the inflatable with stakes. If you’re setting up on bitumen, concrete or another surface where we can’t peg into the ground, a $50 per-inflatable charge applies for weights.

It’s worth telling us about the surface when you request your quote.

4. Water Access

Water slides obviously need water, but the venue needs to have suitable access ready before we arrive.

At least one standard tap is required to operate our water slides. Depending on the equipment booked, multiple taps may be needed. We bring the necessary hoses and connectors, but the water supply needs to be available at the site.

If your venue doesn’t have a suitable tap, you’ll need to arrange another water source, such as a water tank or water truck, for the duration of the hire.

This is something to check before booking, particularly for parks, ovals and larger outdoor venues.

How Much Should You Budget?

For a smaller event, look at slides starting from $600-$700.

For larger slides, your starting point may be closer to $750–$950 or more, depending on the attraction you choose. Remember that delivery and site-specific requirements may affect the final quote.

Your budget should also account for practical requirements such as:
  • Available space
  • Water access
  • Power access
  • Venue surface
  • Delivery access
  • Expected participants
  • Event type
A lower starting price isn’t always the best fit if the inflatable doesn’t suit your venue or audience.
